Open Source Shorts is a screening of short films released under Creative Commons licenses.

Creative Commons licenses provide a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists and build on the “all rights reserved” concept of traditional copyright to offer a voluntary “some rights reserved” approach. With Creative Commons licenses artists are free to copy distribute and remix creative works without the threat of being labeled pirates.
